Xenon Tapered Leaders 50/50

The 50/50 is made from the same advanced copolymer as our standard clear and orange Xenon Tapered Leaders and combines a half clear and half orange tapered leader. The orange section of the leader is knotted to the reel's mainline, while the clear section goes to the rig. The Xenon 50/50 Tapered shockleader is ideal for anglers who want the assurance of the orange colour, so they know the leader is coming out of the water, but still want the invisibility of clear monofilament towards the rig. This type of leader is especially useful when fishing in clear, shallow water, where an orange leader might scare off shy fish. As with the standard tapered leaders, the thick end tapers to the end of the rig system with a gradual tapered section to where the mainline of the reel is knotted, which ensures neat, compact knots that easily glide through the rod guides. This promotes casting efficiency and helps the knots glide through the smaller guides of continental surfcasting rods.
