The blank itself is made from 40-ton Carbon from the renowned Japanese manufacturer, Mitsubishi. This carbon base is coated with M4 resin, which adds incredible strength while maintaining the highest elasticity and sensitivity, creating a blank wall that is 100 times stronger in tensile strength compared to steel of the same thickness. Finally, a layer of 45-degree spiral carbon tape is wrapped around the blank, providing an extra layer of protection and creating a unique spiral look without compromising the blank's performance. This manufacturing process makes the rod feather-light, sharp, and with an extra fast action that shoots lures with great precision over distances while maintaining the very best action for efficiently and attractively working lures. Fuji Titanium Framed Torzite 2 K spinning guides are fitted to the blank. We chose these guides because they are super light and pair well with the feather-light blank, and they are also very efficient. Their design drastically reduces line kinks and gives the line a much more direct movement through the eyes for more efficient and accurate casting. They are suitable for braided line, fluorocarbon, and monofilament. A Fuji VSS reel seat completes the rod, with a Winn grip handle that is soft to the touch, offers excellent grip, and is light. N70 Labrax Special: 8’9” – 6-40g The smallest of the group delivers a massive punch! Don't be put off by this model because it's the shortest. This rod is extremely comfortable and user-friendly and fishes a huge range of lures exceptionally well. The “8'9” fishes just as well with an 11g plug as with a 40g metal, a truly fantastic all-round lure rod!
